You're missing the point because you didn't read all the comments. How can this be a single strategy? You're kidding right?
If you put all your money on one strategy and it loses then you've lost all your money where as a basket trading is what the institutional traders do so they spread risk. i.e they don't rely on one system and if one system performs badly then they rely on the others to compensate.
So basket trading is not based on a single strategy but multiple strategies.
I am working on having three. I already have one and will have my second soon and looking for a third one. The are several in mind.

Well I'll have to believe you, that institutional traders use this concept. I wouldn't have a clue what they do, so I can understand why you are pursuing this line.
I did read all the comments and do understand what you and others are saying. I suppose my point has more to do with semantics.
My point is that a basket of multiple strategies "collectively", in effect is "one single strategy" if it is being traded on the same bankroll, but heck what do I know?
If that is what the institutional traders are doing then there is obviously something in it. Good luck with it and hope it all goes well.
I'm always looking to learn, especially different concepts.

Donex wants to gamble all on one and when he's run out of notes he will eventually get sick of any single strategy that are continuously blowing his accounts or he would have become a millionaire, my bet is failure because most of us do fail on a single strategy in the long term but how many of us failed on a basket? Not many have tried it, I'm guessing 15% of traders at most do basket trading.

Gamble? not me, I don't gamble, that's for mugs like you, I trade. Blown accounts? Never happened. Just because you've blown your accounts doesn't mean it's happened to me. You're the one looking for some holy grail that doesn't exist.
The bottom line is that "basket trading" with so called multiple strategies, will just blow your account quicker, but better for me, I make money off blokes like you. Keep donating to the cause, I'm there to gobble it up.

I believe the point Donex is making is that IF you combine multiple strategies, then that IS, in fact, a strategy in its own right. You seem to be having trouble absorbing the "revolutionary" and "never before revealed" trading breakthrough you have single-handedly discovered. You are quite the guru! And I agree with you 100% that you certainly are guessing at the percentage of traders that combine multiple strategies. You're the best! 😎

WoW perhaps you would enlighten us from your extensive winning experience on how to never lose money in forex? lol But only people of your kind come up with these dreams and think they are real. Everybody thinks they have a winning strategy until it blows there accounts then they hide lol BUT they fight on coming up with the next move yet have nothing to show for like before like always, once a loser always a loser.

Off course a basket of strategies is a strategy in its self no one doubted that but your lack of intellect still blinds you to what is said and to what it's purpose is. Now I'm not going to waste time on a monkey brain because no matter what I say or do. May be you should have listen to your maths teacher at school which could have prevented you from living the losers life you do.

No I didn't get you in fact I got no control over losers whatsoever, but its losers like you are always welcome because lets face it if it weren't for so many of your kind I wouldn't have what I have lol. Reality is to every success there will be so many losers!

Hey I've got a great idea for a trading strategy. I'm thinking of using a basket of indicators, that way if one indicator doesn't work, then the other indicator will subsidize the other.
Now I want to keep it very simple. Let's say the acute angle of the orbicularis oris coincides with sedimentary layers of the proportional lines then we can buy or otherwise sell. Easy eh?
Now back to the basket of indicators, how about we put on a chart, a stochastic, an rsi, 6 EMAs. 4 SMA, Average true range, fractal, support and resistance lines, trend lines and Fibonacci.
Now if we can figure out how to use these basket of indicators we will be able to reduce the losses and maximize the wins. So c'mon folks, let's work it out. We can do it.

Sounds like you worked it out so why not put some of all this saving you have from trading...all 5 cents of it, hence your success in life lol
