Do you think 1000% a year is sufficient ? What is your performance ?

Good question. Considering we are dealing with a ponzi scheme on the grandest of scales, with fractional reserve banking, fiat currency, and debt attached to every dollar in circulation the globe over, perhaps the grand scam will finally be revealed and we shall see hyper-inflation the likes of Zimbabwe (in recent history) and many other nations, including Germany during the early 20th Century.
In my uneducated mind, I might guesstimate that 99% of money is electronic, and only 1% is actually in physical circulation (can someone confirm this?).
If anything will happen, I think a bank might go "broke", as what George Soros (almost) did with the Bank of England (Google that one!).
I heard that Soros had so much money with the latest move in interest rates (he made a correct "bet" on some rate move in Australia or Europe or US), he actually had to move massive amounts of money by three different global banks / brokers to achieve the position he wanted in the market. I can't seem to Google exactly what I read, and it happened early 2013 I think.
...but firstly, you need to find this strategy in order to test my theory. Please share if you find it! 😎

I wouldn't really worry about it like that, BluePanther. Just gotta keep ballin' shot callin'. The universe is infinite, and with it comes infinite wealth, so we should strive to achieve this wealth which is available to all. This is what FX trading is, it's a way to tap in to the infinite wealth of the universe.

Who says I am worried? I'm just answering the question to the best of my (limited) knowledge and understanding. 😎
If anything, I would love to see the entire system COLLAPSE, and a new system of banking implemented. Eg. one where THE GOVERNMENT / PEOPLE control the money supply (as with Abraham Lincoln and Greenbacks), and not a private secretive clique of society, or a society where money does not exist (ZeitGeist 2011: Moving Forward documentary).
Anyone with a better explanation of what goes on in the global financial market is welcome to answer with their opinion. I think it is an intriguing question, and one that is fundamental to better understanding the forex market.

If you want 1000% a year, you would need really strong edge. We are able to make more than 100% a month, but brokers dont like us for it haha... we must move our capital often, create different accounts with different names, so lots of paper work here. But in general it works well and if you have enough patience for it, it could make your 1000% a year.

But 1000% a year, might be possible for a very few and for sure not consistently.
Don't forget that Larry Williams was able to do much more (10000% in a year with real money).
He was able to produce 1.000.000 from 10.000 in a year.

Furax, whats that attachment?? Who are u tryin to cheat ? I have to say u some things.
1º) 199 trades dont represent nothin, just a sobreoptimization
2º) if u use spread zero any strategy is an epic strategy , also irreal
3º) period used? short period? more sobreoptimization
4º) U use compost interest to do a optimization ? are u serious? so how u can know the average of looser , profits , ect. All the info of the strategy is useless in that way.

It doesn't matter if you can constantly earn 1000%. The reality is once you accomplish it, you have out-preformed....well..... EVERYONE! Many people are looking for longevity when it is a pipe -dream. Just like the people who believe that taking "small positions" is the best to obtain over all growth. Have any of you ever seen a 120 pip spread? Well when the first and second plane hit the towers that is what happened to ALL pairs. When the tsunami occurred and they thought the nucular power plant was going to melt down it occurred also. With a spread like all orders hitting the market would stop out automatically and/or pending orders would be triggered and make a mess of your portfolio.

We as a community (myfxbook) focus so much on numbers instead of trading theory. If we were to look at the top systems, we would notice that most of those traders and their respected positions were based on luck then on pin point accuracy. No one here strides on accuracy. We focus more on having "the lowest possible drawdown %" then having the "lowest pip drawdown" per position. It is as if we are trying to impress our fellow traders then actually turning profit.
