Famous traders and investors serve as role models for people and might even attract more and more people into trading. They have influence and people often tend to look up to them.

Mario Gabellio, John Neff, Larry Tisch, Marty Whitman, David Dreman, Jim Rogers and Michael Steinhardt are investors to look up to. Also Benjamin Graham, who was Warren Buffet's mentor.
These people are indeed very inspiring, we can learn a lot from their stories.

Some of them are quite inspiring while others are just doing what they do best. It is all a personal choice if someone wants to really follow them and their trading style.
