Ok, Elkart has just sent us an image of the issue and we've located and fixed it; it happened because of the platform update we did yesterday 🙄.

I haven't changed any settings on either myfxbook or on my mt4 and it have worked perfectly until today. How strange. I got this error

It sometimes happens that the MetaTrader publisher hangs after extended periods of continuous activity.

hi, I can not contact to FTP from my publisher (530-login or password inccorect)even I could contact through net2ftp with no problem. I am new in this I am trying to add a new account which I created in MT4 but did't trade from it yet.

Have you tried restarting MetaTrader? If the net2ftp is working fine, the problem must be with MetaTrader. You could also try to use port 21.

Yes, I have tried to restart the MT it did not help. ftp.myfxbook.com:21 didn't work either. I am running MT in Virtual Box under the linux Gentoo distr. Could that be possibly the problem?

Yes, it might be (we haven't encountered such an issue before).
Are you trying the webftp from the virtual machine also? If so, there's probably an issue with MetaTrader running on the virtual machine.
You can also try to re-install MetaTrader.
