...run a Facebook page? Would you follow it? What would you expect from it?

Thanks for your responses.

Good question.

yes, these days almost all brokers run FB page. But, the question to ask is, are the posts regulated? does the broker delete any negative comment/complaint from any member?
Does the broker force traders to compulsorily post/like their page on FB?

I've seen brokers offering miles/points to login to FB and liking their page. More points for good comments.

None the less, i'd follow my broker's FB page to keep updated of any news related to platform/competition/offers etc.

And again, sometimes, the best way to get in touch with any real person from broker's office is to use FB.

Does it really matter? I use Facebook only for friends so I don't see any reason for a broker to have a Facebook page. I would rather prefer they invest their time in customer suport.

@TheLastBear reading through your posts, you're definitely a representative of a broker. Am I correct to assume that?

Hi, no I am not. I do a little research and am just interested in what other traders think about certain topics which is why I joined this forum. Having said that you are free to think that I do represent a broker.

@optix Yes, I have seen the same. I came across several brokers who use Facebook for special promotions. I think it is a vital to deploy social media and interact with traders who wish to interact with their broker(s).

My broker does. It's kinda interesting blog... however sometimes it can be useless because of all ads there... so must see with a sober look...

Me too :) But it's kinda fairytale ) I don't think that brokers are such altruists to run their blogs for free)) They all want some profit from it...
