One of the most profitable trades I’ve had is with EUR/USD and I believe I made a very good use of price action which happens to be my go-to strategy. Been working on taking up another one soon. Any broker suggestions would be great.

Swing on USD/JPY for a 1:30 RR roughly .
Tight SL increases you RR but will close you out of other correct analyses

If you want to earn something good from trading, you must develop skills. If there is a deficit in skills development, it is never possible to earn something good from trading.

I don’t know if I can call it the ‘most successful’ trade but it was somewhat close so I can consider it a success. I made some decent returns on EUR/GBP and since the price moved in my favor, I call it a win-win.

First, you need to apply the trading mentality in the right way. Then you have to manage the discipline and plan and enter the trade.

@Lycineandrew if that’s how long your broker took to process the money, you need to re-consider trading with him. The whole transaction process will not take more than 24hrs. That’s been my experience with cmc markets and fxview. Even my ex-broker Alpari was good that way.

In one of my trades, I made 10.4% profits, which is the highest that I have made. So, I would say that it is my most successful trade to date.
Well, I am not sure in which context you are asking about the most successful trade. There are some trades that get you money and then there are some trades that get you skills that have the power of making you a consistently profitable trader.

I am still waiting for a trade that I can call my most successful trade. I have made some decent returns in the past but I don’t consider any of them as my most successful trade. I am sure that I can do better and have recently started to trade with Fxview and XTB that put no restrictions on trading style. So I suppose now I’ll be in a better position to trade as per my market analysis. My most successful trade is yet to come and I will share it here in some time. :)

It’s good that you are aiming at improving every day. But you can always take motivation from your previous trades and try to do better in the future.

It’s hard to mention just one trade. There have been trades that got me profits and there have also been trades that prepared me for my future trades with the losses I had to face. And I truly believe that a trade that makes you a better trader deserves to be known as your most successful trade. I know I am getting a bit philosophical and all here but that’s how I truly think :)

In my last few trades, I have been making 15-20 pips on average. Before that, I was only making 1-2 pips. So, I think I can call these my best trades to date.
