It was working this morning, buying EUR/GBP which was that last official trades. I know what I've seen though auto-trades on some other currencies in the middle of the night, and Hokie got it working.

Doesn't seem to want to work now though, so either you can't just make it work it needs the correct conditions on whatever indicators it uses OR Alex has drained any life that was left in it? Who knows, will try it from time to time on a demo but can't spend to long on it. Alex's account must be ready soon...?

guys sorry to warn you that but according to the time that I'm follwing bluemonkey since august 2014
the first system was doing awsome from 21/may/2014 to 17/sep/2014 when I stopped some customer told they had around 70% of drawdown but I cant tell if they loose any money
after that We had the second that some customers, like me, lose almost 70% of the acount during the holidays (but we didnt see it happen in the master account) and after that we had the crash on january...

So the EA perform very very well until it open the first trade agains the main tendencies and it blow.. So according to what I saw if we're able to control these batches against the tendencies to not be open I think the EA would be awsome... Beside of that, and now I cant comment because I dont have eought skills someone better can tell if the market changed since december so this is why the bluemonkey didnt work anymore...

Again those are just my comments I think people with more experience and knowledge can reply and make their comments based on my observations

Thanks for your work on this, especially while BM has gone AWOL it'd be good to still be able to use the system. Which, apart from a few collapses, has been pretty useful for me (as long as you keep an eye on when things fail to close).

I may be missing something, but where can we get hold of the banana addon?

@maiamrn You had the same idea as me. I was thinking about writing the same EA todo the initial entry and allow BMEA customers use their EA to manage the positions. Unfortunately, I haven't looked into the logic of BMEA because this account was deleted. I did download the history csv from BMEA first account so I can still reverse engineer the entry logic later on.

From experience, adding to losses and adding multiple increases in the lotsize will blow your account faster than your child pushing buttons your platform but this doesn't mean it can't make money for several months in between. Once I'm complete with the Caesar Armor, https://redrhinofx.com/caesars-armor/ I'll provide another banana add on for BMEA and we can discuss what logic would be best for the BMEA.

This sounds like you aren't willing to use the EA with your own money but you are willing to let other people be the guinea pig for your tests? This doesn't seem very confident... At least in the eyes of someone who has ran this product...

It shouldn't be hard at all to get a new account up, takes me about 30 minutes before everything is approved and running... At $300 a pop, you can certainly afford a 500 account even if it flops, please don't let us take a risk without seeing your live verified results of the new version.

If you can't afford to risk $500 running your own product you can still use a beginner account at some Forex brokers that offer Cent account such as XM, TradeFort, RoboForex, Exness, and ForexTime. Asking your customers for a $500 donation account for you to continue testing/trading is unheard of.

I don´t think you need another broker. Just make a 500 USD deposit and let the new version run.
If you want to make improvements in BMEA especially in entry point I can contribute this way. I think everybody here wants to save BMEA project. Please take a look in my account and see if that experiment (Banana AddOn) can help BMEA in some way.

Yes. maybe it can improve BMEA´s performance. But it´s still in the testing phase.

     I also was able to get the BMEA to open a trade on its own after I had used a script to open a trade. The trick is to choose the right entry point and hope that it is ranging not trending. The magic number that I used is the one that BMEA displays in the chart. I am in USDCAD and I sold as it was going up. It then picked up on this and calculated appropriate lots and opened 2 more sells by itself. But USDCAD seems to be trending up so I am losing money for now. My initial trade I just used 0.01 lots and then it opened 2 more trades in the same direction for 0.38 and 0.20 lots. Error 149 means it won't let you hedge(open in the same pair in opposite direction). CKD

Thank you RedRhino for providing us with this EA, it works a treat. I too use BM to go with the trend, as opposed to hedging. I have success with eur/usd, gbp/usd, aud/usd, nzd/usd, usd/cad, eur/gbp, aud/nzd. That's enough really 7 pairs. The only problem I had was manual opening the trades with the script when at work, thanks to this I can know set it for the day and carry on with life. I'm also very aware of the risks so am using RREA on demo only at the moment.

We now have an amazing combination of our entries and BM brilliant grid management. Happy days
