Hi All,
Sure this trategy will go mid/longterm therefore I am not bothered with the interim lack. Thus no concern on the strategy itself, more on the way it has been currently realized and the way it is managed. Its more or less a blind flying...
What bothers is that the EA does not indicate its current state and what is happen next.
The EA leaves me as trader pretty much in a guessing game if trades are going to be closed however taking profit or in a loss.
How far is the EA from taking a profit or loss / TP/SL Levels???
Are all trades still managed by the EA....???
Have trades/profit been secured or can it still turn around...???
It cant be the way to tell traders that after a restart remaining open trades shall be monitored further... Well, monitored to what?
While releasing an update the new features should be highlighted/referenced accordingly in a change log/manual. Not doing so might cause unnecessary exporue on traders side.
I would like to ask the FXGrowthBot team here accordingly to seriously look into the matter of making this EA more transparent towards a traders perspective and comfort level. This should apply to the Support, EA as well to the announced Signal Service driving towards a proffessional commercial product.
Cheers

Fxgrowthbot,
It would be extremely helpful, if the EA displayed a version number in the chart.
And, you also show the version number available in the members area.
Please confirm if this is possible, and being considered in future updates, if any.
Thank you

So basically you are asking th creator of the EA to release the system behind the EA? Asking him to release the way to understand the functioning of the system, so you are able to know why the system enters the trade when it does, and why it closes when it does?
Do you realize that if he does that, then his bussiness would be over? Doeas Coca-Cola tell you how do they make it? But you drink it anyway. And if Mr. Anything doesn't tell you how his company makes his soda, but tastes bad, you simply wouldn't drink it?
Same here: judge the EA for its results and decide wether to use it or not. Anyway, when you make a close follow up of the EA, you start to see some stuff about its pattern, and learn when could it possibly open trades, and if you analize its open trades, from a technical analysis point of view, you'll start to find some of the possible criteria it is following up...... but it is YOU who has to do the work if YOU want to understand how it works.... not the creator of the software, becasuse it would be as much as a commercial suicide.
Finally, I would highly recommend, since I hope to do it one day, that we all start learning MQL4 programming, since we should reach the day when we can perfect our own trading system, that we can derivate into our own EA, which we could, if so consider, share with the people, as kennyhubbard did with his Trailing EA, because that day we will have the tools we are expecting to find from the vendors of the software
PS: by the way, I hope people take my comments without sentimental concerns, since I'm just trying to be a bit objective about the subject.

for the past three weeks i have been tinkering with this program, pretty much 24 hrs a day. I am going to start working on other pairs and will let you know how that goes. I have to admit though i get real nervous when the trades go positive wondering if they will get closed out before they go negative. and i will admit manually closing some that turned out to be good, and a few that left alot on the table. that being said, i am currently running three different configurations on demo accounts, 2 on m15 charts and one on m5 chart for the eur/usd pair. over the past three days on one demo account the system has placed 38 trades. 22 were positive for $5491.50 and 16 negative for $1499. this was on the 17k left on a 25k demo account used for testing. i am going to leave these alone for a while and work on a couple of other pairs. anyone have any suggestions on a couple of complementary pairs to the eur/usd?
Thanks
Thanks

Question to FXGrowthBot:
I noticed that most of the times the trades opened here (shown on MyFXBook) are quite similar in time and price to those in my account. However, they are handled quite differently in terms of closing of orders- yours seemed to be more profitable.
I'm using the basic default settings. Are you using other settings or additional EA tools to handle the trades? If yes, could you kindly share them with your customers in the members' area?
Thanks.

I didn't get the same trades in my account. I feel it is because my VPS failed me and I lost the first trades of yesterday. I loaded the EA when those trades were running in this account and I don't know why but the EA made new trades, almost all in losses. I closed one manually to prevent this, but the automatic ones were losses. I think that if this happen, It is better to have the EA off until the actual trades closes and try to keep the same trades like here.

I'm getting the same openings on an Alpari UK demo account running on a VPS but they aren't closing at all. Currently 200 pips down on two seperate sale orders. (losing approx 10% of account).
I've emailed Eugene but received no reply. After initially being quite promising, after three weeks for me it looks like it's going to be a refund from me.
