But the negativity - if you are not happy or just here to bring down this discussion then just leave no one said you have to use REV Trader PRO.

I don't know what the doubters want. You have a verified myfxbook trade record going back over a year. Sure, there were some discrepancies on the prior bank of NZDUSD trades, which I raised on here publicly myself. But those discrepancies have been resolved as a temporary error in the myfxbook platform. My own doubts were ultimately put to rest.

On the other hand, you have doubters who take this system with its current set files and run it backwards for years and years without taking into account the possibility (hopefully probability) these sefiles wll continue to be optimized going forward as the market changes. They claim the result will be a busted account. Well, from a ridiculous premise, you can come up with a very unreasonable conclusion.

My own live forward experience with this system has been very very good. My results don't match those of the system author. Sometimes they aren't as good. Sometimes they are even better. But the returns have been positive. And my results are really quite similar to his. Again, this is not an unreasonable outcome given the system is being run on two different brokers separated by not just miles but continents. I wish his broker took american citizens as I wish his recommended broker for US citizens (fxchoice) didn't have such uncompetitive commissions. But people in hell want ice water too. So I come up with the best ECN broker I can find (tallinex), roll the bones and take my chances. So far, I'm pretty happy with the results.

In the end, you use revtraderpro and put your money on the line, or you don't. That's all.

Hmm, I read the article mentioned, and the suspicious GBPUSD data on October 9, 2014 from the sales page is there in myFxBook, same second, one order closes, another opens, 23 pips higher, yes, suspicious.

Last point made by JLtrader (account should have wiped out at the very start), and today's serious drawdown without reversing or stopping out, makes me want to cancel my EA and ask for a refund.

That's right, you're always going to have a few discrepancies here and there. Overall returns are what counts and so far I am extremely happy with Rev T. P. Keep up the excellent work Doug!

BTW, I use commodity account (classic server) at MyFxChoice with no commissions (but spreads still very good) and may not be a true ECN but still a no deal desk and working great. So US clients may want to know it's an option. We are not scalping here so why pay commissions for a little tighter spread? Works just like ECN. If I was not in the US I would use same broker Doug does.

Our trades are doing great so far today...looking good!

Recently there have been a lot of discussions here, seems to me most are from non users who do not have first hand experience on the system.

You are welcome to comment and discuss on the system, but if you don't have any first hand experience, I hope you can leave the guessing to simple guesses and do not expand on something out of imagination. I have back tested the system for a while and have gone live since Dec 9. I show good confidence in it, but always trying to find ways to improve on using it. Yes, broker improvement is a MUST.

I hope more users can speak on how to improve on the system, traps to avoid, etc. Then we can help each other as a user group, rather than a place of gossip.

I find that some trades are closed soon, and losses are small. In others, like last week's NZD trades, they stay for a long while with large intra-trade DD. I am interested to know the logic behind closing trades early, or how to expect of SL. Any comments?

I just purchased REV Trader Pro last week and this week is the 1st week it is running live. I followed all the settings as recommended, I have MM turned off with a set .5 lot size for all trades. I am using FXCM and running it on VPS.

My trading partner and I both have jumped on the EA because the live data is very impressive... Just had my first trade yesterday and made $125... I have a 5 year plan and this EA is gonna help me get there....

OPINION: I have read every post on this forum, and between that and all the other forums I have read in relation to FOREX, there are always a group who refuse to follow the recommended settings or trade a system on pairs that are not recommended.... Then they post tons of negative BS about the system... All I can do is scratch my head when I read all the nonsense...

I am having GREAT results with REV Trader PRO.

I would fully support the Scam-mongers getting blocked from this forum. Only constructive comments are welcomed here please.

Only thing I am asking is if SL is set to 90 pips in EA properties and it does place the SL there then when will it close.

Anyway,I have run this on Demo and its pretty great and REV_Trader is a good EA, I was just asking question.StopLosses are set for a reason.

got the 3 trades nz/usd 7775 7795 both closed in profit.1 still open.would the ecn mode option in filter be causing some problems with trades.i set to true ;although i just have good spread.not true ecn.works ok though.or is just for 4 or 5 digits?comments?

Easily solved if the problem was a MyFxBook issue. Delete the account and reconnect it. That should solve the problem and shut up the doubters.
