Everyone else in deep DD as well?

Seriously, I have no idea why they went long on this when everyone and their mother knew that the Fed was going to taper again. Still have faith, just waiting to see how it extricates itself this time.

I have an other ea that is long with opening on same level one day before.
Position still open as well. This ea is always opening on longer time frames (i guess) and keeps for some days

I have other eas that sold yesterday near this level (For a short time i had 5 open positions on EURUSD :shock:)

One EA opened today a new SELL, based on breakout stratgey.
So i have BUY and SELL what gives a certain harmony ;) Who touches first to close ?!

Just want to say that mathematicaly this system will not generate profit in long term. If SL, no matter is it real 250 or mental 200, will be hit, it will be bigger than all gain made. If higher risk level, loss could be even higher than all account.
lets say current situation. euro is droping like a rock after yesterdays fomc. we have buy on almost top. account is 1526 usd. 0.46x200 will give us 920 usd lost. second possition 0.46x169 will give about 780 usd loss, all together will be 1700 usd. in other words - stopout. Even if risk is set lower, loss will allways eat your gains.

Unless no risk managment mode used, but fixed lot size. Then if loss/win ratio will be higher than 1:20(25) then you will keep at least small part of you gains. But you will not grow so nice. Who knows, maybe this system is grail and it will never hit SL?

I am using also Wally with both settings they use on Myfxbook and till now i can say it is incredible! i plan to buy also other EAs!

The SL is a TECHNICAL SAFETY SL - when you loose your internet conection, electricity or a virus deletes your NON-VPS ;).

We will see on what level they will send the signal. :pray:

Husar, technically it depends on stopout level of broker and account leverage. But it is easy to calculate that 0.92 lot will eat 1526 usd after about 165 pips move from break even point which is now at 1.3652. So stopout would come at 1.3487 if SO level would be 0. But it isn't so.

Then 0,92 might be too much on some leverage.... Lower the risk as i did.
SPhantom gave me a max of 4% for my leverage 1:50.

I'm not about me. Numbers are from sphantom's account.

And that 'rule' that SL will allways be bigger than overall gain applies to all, no matter what leverage or risk is set. Simple math.

Well, I have to say I'm angry about sPhantom opening a buy trade 1 hour before the FOMC announcement. I decided to grit my teeth and trust in the EA, but now feel a chump for doing so. just coming up to Euro opening as I type this and down about 25% DD. sPhantom has completely lost it's mojo this last month. It's almost as though they've got a rookie on the tiller while the brains of the outfit is on an extended vacation away spending the earnings from selling the EA.

If this closes out leaving me any money I'm switching to Profit Empire EA. Less DD and interestingly has no 10 pip close out maximum on trades. Although it got caught with its pants down last week when the Euro lurched up against all market sentiment, it recovered from a large 39% DD and came back and actually increased the account by 25% - no 10pip profit limitation there! It may cost $100 per month, but at least these guys are invested in making good trades and not making illogical ones like sPhantom that are against all market sentiment.

Money management or no money management - something's changed at sPhantom. It's simply not the same guys running the trades. My guess is their star player's quit to create their own EA or something.

I'm out here at the earliest opportunity. This baby's gonna blow.

I joined the club several days ago. I feel like riding roller coaster everyday watching the number up and down. I have lowered my risk ratio to 5. If you risk too much, you might live in fear using EAs with large SL.

I am running it with 3% risk so not so bad, but i don't like what i see!

sphantom ... You can also say something about these transactions. it does not look good from these operations large DD.

According to forexpeacearmy, platinatrader is also a pretty good copier. Drive gold, is also awesome

Whew!! Glad I got out of this one yesterday. sPhantom will not discuss their strategy. Only technical support for the EA itself. But from what I've seen, since new announcements are a major part of 'Fundamental' strategy, the strategy used seems to be almost purely technical (charts, indicators, etc.)
The trade prior to this, it closed exactly on the 61.8 fib line, which tells me Fibonacci trading is part of the strategy. I hate to think sPhantom is in it's dying days. Its been good so far. 😕

I said on this board 2 days ago, this EA has been lucky and will end in tears,
It has pathetic risk/reward,
Get on the live $1M autotrade or AXItrader account.

No problem with 200 PIP loss on my account this is not kindergarden with 100$ and 20% risk
