OK - if I understand, and I really tried to, the second and third links are both the mirror system? If so, then why on Earth do they look so completely different? Sorry, but for me you are increasing confusion not decreasing it! And what is the purpose of re-branding the EA in the first place? I can see no reason except that it allows you to keep your word to limit the sales of Tom's EA while allowing you to violate that statement by selling more of it under a different name. A very sleazy practice!
You got that all wrong. The top two are the same account but it has two myfxbook accounts attached to it. One is for those that have already signed up under toms ea to follow. The other is for those that sign up under profit agent to follow. This account is not used on the mirror trader at all. The reason we re-branded it was to due away with the EA for future purchasers.
The ea requires a lot of support and causes a lot of issues and seems to confuse a lot of people. There are also several variables that are out of our hands that also complicate things. Like Meta Trader making updates that makes the EA not work for example. This is why we re-branded it not to be able to sale it again. Hard to sell an automated system that doesn't use an EA but has the letters EA in the name... Does that make sense. We always told people we would sell it again at some point once the support was able to catch up and we felt everyone was settled in.
As far as the tradency account goes. Only one of these accounts is the tradency account and that is the one that is trading all six pairs. This is only confusing for the few that stumble into both threads. Of course the links are posted here now so that will create some confusion as well but hopefully my explanation will clear it up.

Dustin/Global Profit, I hope this doesn't mean support & updates for existing users will not continue to be provided in the future because new sales have been stopped. Tom's was probably one of the highest priced EA's most of us have purchased & we would like to feel secure in the knowledge that we will continue to be able to use it with brokers of our choice for some considerable time.

Hi my Tom's is going pretty well but interested in SuitsFx's advice. Could someone explain better?
Also do you think it would be value, through trade copier, to exclude first three 0.01 trades (run Tom in demo and copy to live without 0.01 lots)?
Thanks
I did not understand it either, but I was told by support that manually closing trades in a basket could confuse the logic of the EA. You can close the entire basket, but not individual trades within it. I assume manually opening trades could do the same? Better check with them again.

No this will not affect further development. Keep in mind that the mirror trader depends on the EA to work since it is what is running the mirror trader. For this reason we must continue to support it. In addition to that I use the EA on several accounts also. Bottom line, the EA will continue to be supported because A: we have an obligation to do so and B: We are using it internally and want to continue to improve it.

Paul I reverted to 1.89 weeks ago when the problems were found with 1.92 and it is running on the MT4 419 build with no problems whatsoever. I don't see any need to upgrade at this time since its working fine as it is. Have you tried ver 1.89 on the 419 build? It should work ok.
UPDATE from IBFX, " Dear Valued Trader,
Starting on June 1, client MT4 terminals below build 416 will not be able to connect to trade servers, and thus updates and trading will be disabled. The only solution for traders with old terminal builds will be to download the latest version of MT4 and reinstall the terminal.
This is a quick and easy process that we recommend you follow, regardless of your current MT4 build, to ensure you are running on the latest version of the IBFX MT4 platform with no interruption to your trading..."
Demo-testing TEA1.89 on MT4.19 now, fyi

tested v1.89 with auto-login, TP adjusted as usual according to a/c equity, else if enough equity should be 30p.
It's working like when I'm using TEA on mt4 build 409; tested from opening to tp hit- took around half a day to see to 2 TP.
Good enough for me; shifting on Saturday :)

What is the difference between Toms EA Robot and the Tradency Mirror offered by Tom's Website. I realize they provide the trades from the server directly but what is the winning percentage between the two? More or less the question is one better than the other?

results are +- same, in both cases you will be trading with same algorithm, what's different is the tech background. Mirror Trader do not require any tech knowledge or maintenance work, while EA requires a VPS which involves installation and stuff like that

Thanks for clearing that up, Dustin. You know the old saying, perception is reality, especially in the absence of adequate explanations! Too bad that ALL manifestations of the EA are tanking right now, and having had some experience with it, it is easy to see the glaring flaws in Tom's EA! The logic it uses to make its next move is seriously flawed, IMHO. Perhaps it is not possible for any computer program to consider drastically changing world conditions as part of its thinking, and from what I am hearing and reading, Tom's is at risk of losing many customers over this current EUR debacle. The system has put me and others extremely short the USD, and that has killed us, and maybe the EA as well.

Hi Guys decided to cancel Tomsea and managed to get out of the eur/usd before it sank again. The pennys just dropped in why was a risking over £300 (drawdown) to eventually ,make £11 from a trade? Money managment does not make sense. Should have listened about this ea a long time ago. Since dropping it now up 7% can't say more than that.
Good luck guys

I told here couple of months ago (after 3 weeks my testing period on 3 different accounts with different RLs) that this EA is extremely dangerous. It performs ONLY during sideway trends, but can wipe your account out easily when the strong trend appears. T/P of 30 pips vs 600 pips hidden S/L... Who invented such a crap ?
So, I warned people here but was overshouted by many of you, especially the EA developer

I suggest Duston not charge the monthly payment for recent two month or more because this huge loss was caused by this EA is not special case but for all of the accounts from us.
I stopped trading TEA two weeks ago and took the losses, glad I did it then. At least I saved 75% of my initial account balance. This market is the ending for TEA. Here is an account blowing right now: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/fxtradertom/toms-ea-hedging/196298
And don't blame the EA. As traders we are all responsible for our own losses (and wins). We made the decision to trade this EA. Take some learning and view losses as tuition to FX University. And next time do better due diligence 😉

I stopped using the EA 2 weeks ago as well. Closed out all my positions manually for $31K loss. Plus the $2K paid for the EA, this one has been a dud!
Glad I closed all positions as my entire account would have been blown if I hadn't. I live to fight another day.
Losses are part of trading, however for what we paid for this EA, I expected better support and after sales development of the EA. I for one will NEVER buy a single thing off Dustin Pass again.
