Sensex, Nifty Little Changed After Recent Gains

(RTTNews) - Indian shares were little changed on Thursday after recent gains on optimism over GST reforms, hopes of Federal Reserve interest-rate cuts and comments from U.S. President Donald Trump suggesting that his administration is continuing negotiations to address trade barriers with India.
The benchmark BSE Sensex was up 34 points at 81,458 in early trade, while the broader Nifty index was little changed at 24,975 after six consecutive sessions of gains.
Reliance Industries edged up slightly after incorporating a wholly owned subsidiary named Reliance Intelligence.
Rail Vikas Nigam rose about 1 percent after it emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs. 169.49 crore project from West Central Railway.
Keystone Realtors gained 1 percent on fund raising reports.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories declined 1.2 percent as it announced $50.5 million acquisition of the Stugeron brand from Janssen Pharmaceutica.
Infosys fell 1.3 percent ahead of a board meeting to approve a share buyback proposal.
Tega Industries dropped 1 percent after it agreed to acquire global mining consumables leader Molycop in an all-cash transaction valued at around $1.5 billion.
