It all depends when traders started with FGB..starting end of 2010 1000% not bad.., you'll be sitting through this..starting july 2011 , 10-20% maybe..., ok lets see what happens, maybe.starting Jan 2012 , big minus...., yike my capital will be gone soon!!!Perhaps a focus on smaller gains, and consistency, will avoid the threat of manual intervention: Expert Advisor - OFF and loss..?

GPBUSD will probably retrace, so you will probably be OK (that why grids prefer it)But to avoid a Sell ~1.2 GBPUSD.. escalating your worryI'd (1) switch-off the EA. (2) wait for GBPUSD to retrace(3) switch the EA back on (when drawdown is less painful)For the future, maybe half your start volume, and see whether you feel comfortable.. Ultimately EA volume must be comfortable (ie when one feels most objective and can sleep well at night), plus a slight edge of risk..Hope it comes good for youBest

fxgrowthbot may have shut his FGB off - it appears to have stopped trading - no chart updates in 6hrs !

Yes, from the beginning, MT4 developers provided this feature to attract brokers. Now its all over the web, clients are becoming more discerning, pulling more brokers in line. MBtrading for example claims their MT4 is squeaky clean..

its true FGB is less broker dependent.. But be careful with Alpari if you use other EAs/strategies - I used them for a year as they have a nice image with all the tick boxes. However, they do use the MT4 Broker's virtual Dealer Plug-in with the smaller micro accounts. It allows them to make more profit, by strategically rejecting trades - I thought it was the market, but it's them! I don't think this is honest and it's amazing the FSA don't clamp down on this. Whereas Gomarkets (I think they have a London server too), does not do this.. Hopefully Thinkforex too.
