The reason I ask is that I had that problem with constant errors from the broker for one of Doug Price's earlier products. It was a US broker I was using it on. I had to get a refund. However I have not seen that problem on a non-US broker. It was not Channel or Scalp but the earlier one.

Blue monkey is defunct now. It was not an EA but rather some kind of trade copier.

Hi, I purchased my copy of Keltner Pro 8/14/14. I have had mixed results but I did well yesterday on the GBPUSD trade. The EA put three orders as it does. Mine made money on all 3 of those particular trades. I noticed that the master account did not trade that same trade as well so I sent Jared a screen shot of my account to be helpful. But now today my Keltner Pro license is not working. I don't know why my license is not working and I have not heard back from support . Has anybody else had their license tagged in this manner? I tried to use PTP on an account with FXCM and I kept getting the order modify request, so much so that FXCM threatened to freeze my account. I tried it on another account with Oanda and had a similar sort of issue. The brokerage says that every time the EA submits an order modify request it costs them money. Effectively the EA is useless to me. Also I am having trouble getting an electronic fund transfer to FxChoice where I have an account. That is the brokerage where the vendor says to use the EA where he says that these issues will clear up. Is anyone familiar with these types of prob...

Hello, I also was able to get the BMEA to open a trade on its own after I had used a script to open a trade. The trick is to choose the right entry point and hope that it is ranging not trending. The magic number that I used is the one that BMEA displays in the chart. I am in USDCAD and I sold as it was going up. It then picked up on this and calculated appropriate lots and opened 2 more sells by itself. But USDCAD seems to be trending up so I am losing money for now. My initial trade I just used 0.01 lots and then it opened 2 more trades in the same direction for 0.38 and 0.20 lots. ...

Hi, How do you set your copy of Blue monkey to keep it from opening huge trades? It tried to open 1.58 lots on gbpusd this week. Because of FIFO I had to close trades to get to it to close that trade. Yours did not put a trade that large relative to your balance on gbpusd this week 7Dec to 12Dec of 2014. CKD

Mine opened a huge trade on GBP/USD which I could not close due to fifo and I lost $600 on default settings. I could not find a similarly sized trade in the official account.

ddr, Please describe what happened, what broker, what settings, what messages etc and perhaps one of the other members or me can recognize what happened and assist you. In my experience the EA can open trades that are too large for your account. If it is trading against the trend and the trend continues then it can demolish your account especially with 1:50 margin like with FXCM. CKD

Why is it that they get 1:400 with FXCM and we only get 1:50 for leverage? And yes please explain the settings better. Like how do you set it to keep it from taking all the available margin in a few trades?

Hi, I am with FXCM. Two individual loss trades got closed for me, one on Friday, the other on Sunday night just a little while ago. Then I closed all the trades manually before it started the steep drop. FXCM is 1:50 and does not permit hedging so the EA would not open those trades. I turned BMEA off for now. CKD
