There’s definitely both hype and real value in AI. It can help with data and backtesting, but it’s still just a tool at the end of the day. Execution, risk, and adapting to market changes still come down to the trader.

For me it’s mostly about liquidity and manageable volatility for the pair I’m trading. Too little movement makes setups slow, but too much volatility can distort the structure. Finding that balance during a consistent session usually works best.

I’m not completely convinced about how much AI actually helps in this context. I understand the value of structured analysis but I have some doubts about relying heavily on AI signals. Execution and risk management still sit with the trader. Tools can support decisions but they don’t remove the psychological side of trading.

Sticking to repeatable setups helps a lot in futures trading. The fewer variables I have to manage, the more consistent my execution becomes. As for indicators, I keep moving average for structure and maybe VWAP during the main session. Beyond that I rely more on price action and key levels than stacking confirmations.

I see a strategy as the outline like the overall plan of action. The trading system is what runs that idea and executes it with precision. When you come up with a strategy, you still need to turn it into a structured system that fits the market and can adapt over time. Without that structure, it’s just a concept. Execution is what makes it real.
