I had the same problem on Monday. It turned out that there was a forced update of MT4 to build v500 last weekend. I had to close MT4 manually on my VPS, wait a couple seconds then re-open it. MT4 then displayed a message saying that it must be upgraded, so I did, and after that everything was OK.

When I closed it manually, EURUSD was at 1,30070 (at around 14:22 GMT), so that trade was 83,2 pips in profit, and the EURUSD was moving up, so I don't think that it was wise to leave it open, especially that the EA's own trades were closed in the early morning. I guess this is why everyone was concerned about this single left out trade - if the EA closed all of them, why leave out one for a couple of us?I don't really like when such things happen and I believe in such rare circumstances we should minimise the possible errors by closing it out manually. At least that's what I...

I had the exact same problem previously. The solution is to close MT4 and re-open it after a few seconds. By doing so, the EA will automatically close all open positions (if you are running it using default settings). I did it as well as for some strange reason I had one open sell still open, just like you. The "funny" thing is that I'm using a VPS at Commercial Network Services and my broker is ThinkForex... Don't have any idea why the EA left this one trade open. :(

Yes, I know, but what I was trying to say is that it seems to me that the closing "strategy" might involve some manual intervention on the EA's side? As it doesn't act the same way when it is closing the open trades.Or you haven't noticed this yet?

Is it just me or do you also wonder why the EA won't close some trades in profit? I mean, the perfect example was the last 7 trades which were opened on 7th February. I have no idea why it didn't close some of those 7 trades that day when it hit ~1.337. Previously, it closed at least 1 or 2 trades, but now, it let it "go", thus, the last 2 trades were closed in loss, which could have been closed in profit, 2 trades were closed the next day only at higher price, so less profit, and there are still 2 trades left opened, and we approach a possible uptrend again...Wasn't ther...
