They all start off new and unheard of. I'm going to watch for a while longer. I emailed him and he offered to manage my acct for 5% of the profit monthly, so long as I funded the acct with enough to allow min trade size of 1 lot. Seems like a nice guy, answered my emails quickly enough. Interesting possibility, and becoming more interesting with time. Just sayin'.

VTP with trade copying is obviously a great EA, but as an old guy with not a whole lot of time left to turn a small account balance into enough money to pay off my kids mortgages I find this fellow a lot more interesting.

I have observed over the years that more than 95 percent of retracements retrace at least 50 percent, which, when looking back to 25 February would be above 1.5000. Timing is everything of course, but I don't see anything predicting that that cannot happen right now. I don't see anything predicting that it will though. A quick look didn't show me why VTP opened a long position when it did, anybody see an explanation for that?Best of luck to all, it's just a flip of the coin right now (according to me :).

RTP is a trend trader. The trend ended about 2 Jan. Now look at the growth chart. It would have been best to just shut RTP off for a while, but hey, who has a crystal ball? Kind of looks to me like the reversal/rebound is started though. As soon as RTP starts buying turn it back on, my guess.

Economic calendars are readily available, there's one on this site's home page, one at Daily Motion. When you see high impact announcements are imminent shut down the EA. You don't need Doug to tell you that. FOMC and NFP are excellent examples of totally unpredictable events.If you still want to trade during these events manually open a trailing stop on the instrument that you think will be most affected, you may lose a little, you may gain a lot. So Nick, I can't find any reference to WAWsignal anywhere. Is this one of yours?I prefer short term scalping because it is much easier to avoid major scheduled economic events. The longer the term the more major events will take place, and the shorter the term the less likely, and short term utilizes tighter SL so if I get surprised it won't result in a big loss.I've not done nearly as well trading as I had hoped though, and I'm tired of being in front of the computer, so I'm looking for a good EA and the one Nick is using looks like the best of all, but has only been teste...
