I think that a point that every new trader should keep in mind is that the forex market is highly volatile which can either be a blessing or a curse based on your trading decisions. It is always good to practise on a demo account before risking the real money. But some new traders are skipping this step which may not cause any problems if they are good at trading to begin with. Also, being good at trading with a demo account does not indicate that you will be good at trading with a real account too since a demo account is very much different from an actual trading account. Even the strategies that worked perfectly in your demo account may fall apart when you use them in real trading. Still it is better to test your skills in a demo account and it is a lot of fun too.

In my experience there is no easy way to trade and the difficulty level depends upon the strategy and intellect of each trader and also how the market situation plays out for them in real time which is quite unpredictable. Sometimes an experienced trader with good trading skills and strategy may suffer from loss due to the unexpected market fluctuations. Forex trading is a risky venture and only time can tell to what extent it will give you a hard time.
