I also believe that luck plays no role in trading. You can only reach the path of success when you work hard and maintain discipline. Those who rely on luck are simple gambling which can never be profitable in the long run.

I totally agree that consistency and discipline are among the pillars of trading that leads to a successful foundation. It sometimes gets challenging because of emotions but that’s where we need to work as a trader. The majority of the traders face this issue. You need to understand that trading won’t make you rich overnight! You have to be consistent and patient to reap rewards in the long run.

Indeed, following a trading plan is one of the most integral parts of trading. When you stick to your plan, it gets easier to find out the loopholes you’ve been missing out on and you can easily track your progress. I know trading often gets tedious at times but if you let emotions play, you’ll pay the price!

Greed is a dangerous emotion that keeps pushing us to want more even when we don’t need it. Traders should be aware of how greed contributes to their losses while trading. Emotions like greed are the sole reason people get indulged in addiction, over-trading, etc which proves as poison for their trading career. Keep your thoughts from taking over. The more self-assured you are and the more methodical your approach is, the less room there is for greed.

I agree with you. Indeed practising before making any move helps us to eliminate risks and also builds confidence. While it takes some time to start seeing a profit, we learn how to choose an opportunity and make the best out of it. The discipline and self-control we learn while trading also applies to other aspects of our life.

Ready made strategies will provide you an outcast of how you should trade. It is good to be taken as a guiding strategy or a reference. But depending upon your own trading capacity and currency pairs, you have to modify the strategy. Both yes and no. Trading can be hard for absolute beginners who have no idea about the market. They need to learn and trade consistently to become better. On the other hand, people who have devoted significant quality of time in learning about the market strategies, analysing them, and applying the procedures of risk management, for them, the market does not seem to be that hard. Of course the market is volatile in nature, and loss is for sure fated. But with a good strategy, you will make more profits than losses.
