Vinson Financials Ltd has been duly registered under the laws of Cyprus with registration number HE307815, and is authorized as a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) under licence number CIF184/12, regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). Every Cypriot investment firm regulated by CySEC is also MiFID compliant. Cyprus has taken the necessary steps to implement the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) into its legislation. The Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law, N.144(I)/2007, which implements MiFID and the level two directive, took effect from November 1, 2007, and replaced the previous legal regime. The purpose of MiFID was to provide a homogeneous legal framework amongst European Countries regarding the operations and regulation of investment firms.
